Comments (5)I did, and it's not like the contractor and plumber haven't met us since we did the walk-through with them. The rough was already moved from one wall to another due to their error and during that I brought it up again. I'm extra irritable about this because I have two boys. My 8 YO is in the 99% for height and by the height predictor thing the pediatrician does he'll be between 6'2" and 6'5" at age 18. Their shower head is at 74" also. How annoying. At least if have 6 years before I'll need to address that issue....See MoreWall Paint help needed with Torquay countertops - Please Help!
Comments (10)One of the things we learned about grays (and I'm sure whites) is that it's all about the light in the room you're painting. In our old house we painted the north facing LR BM Silver Lake (a blue undertone). It was so great we thought we'd do it in a south facing bedroom. Horrible! For the new house we must have 6 sample cans of grays, none of which are the grays we used in the old house. Take these suggestions, but be sure to paint up (large) samples in your kitchen. You'll never know until you try the colors in your lighting. If you want to do this now, it's all good. The cabinets, etc. will change, but the lighting will only change from winter sun to spring sun....See MoreCabinet Paint Color Dilemma - Help Please
Comments (6)IMO you are doing this backwards. Wall color last choice , Counters after kitchen design and cabinets are chosen You cannot choose colors with no lighting in place You do not mention flooring which BTW needs to bechosen before any of these things are decided . I think you need a ID to help and honestly 20' high ceilings are horrible for lighting , sound control and huge $$$$ for heating and cooling for no purpose . Too late now to fix that but slow down these other things until the space is at least lit . IMO cabinet color trumps wall color for sure Lovely looking home why fake plastic stone ?...See Moreamykath
