Catching up on spring blooms

Comments (11)Thanks everyone. I did make a mistake on one of my photos. It is really Carolyn Hunt not Carolyn Mann. Celeste, Odd Man Out was hybridized by some friends of mine CJ and Virginia Gregory we are all members of our local daylily club. Their garden is called Dragonwood and I believe they do have a website. Odd Man Out is their first introduction and is a outstanding grower for everyone that has it in there gardens. They also introduced another DL this year that is called Dragonwood Spellbound and it seems to grow just as well as Odd Man Out....See MoreTarget Up and Up Detergent
Comments (11)I did wash the new Threshold bed sheets in the powder Up and Up Lavender Bloom detergent. First let me say this doesn't exactly smell like Lavender, in the box its a sweet scent, if I could put a scent to the phrase **Pretty in Pink** this detergent would be perfect. I like more vintage scents, but I like this one. Which is strange for me. On with washing the new sheets, two twin sets, water temp 128deg f...Up and Up detergent, no sudsing throughout the wash cycle, just an occasional bubble here and there, rinse water Crystal clear, no slippery feel, and I did not use FS. Out of the washer there was only a faint wiff of the detergent, even holding them to my nose and huffing deeply I only detected a slight wiff . Out of the dryer, no scent at all, not even a faint, * I think I smell it* no scent other than that *nothing scent* that means clean to me. The sheets were smooth with that finished feel. I know this was not a fair test as far as cleaning performance goes, I'll put it to the * can it remove stains and odors* test later today, but so far its passed the bed sheet test on new sheets at least, I'll try it later on my hubs sheets, he is a heavy sweat-er at night. Mich, although this is a new detergent to me, it doesnt appear to be like sears..even the texture is different, its more fluffy, like All Free powder.course it could have the same cleaning performance, box doesnt say who manufacters it, just says made in the USA distributed by Target. Thank you all for your Duvet cover recommendations, I will have to make a trip to Bed Bath and Beyond....See MoreTarget Up & Up Spring Bloom Softener. Great find Mitch!
Comments (57)Hi all! Of course, every time get the chance I sniff all the "Downy"-like FS at the grocery store...yesterday I happened across a new generic or "store brand" - it's called "Simply Done" and the bottle is light blue with the hot pink cap. Scent is called "spring scent" - I think it's also a fairly good match for our old-school Downy, but in all fairness did wash the load first in Liquid Tide with AF Downy. Tonight I'll try a load with unscented soap. Would love it if someone else found it and tried it too - for comparison! The Target softener is also wonderful......See Morelarsi_gw
