Oooh. Now your talking. I love Patricia snider Memorial. Butterfly Ripples is gorgeous. Jurriastic Fiesta is hot! A bevy of beauties.

Oh My! These are stunning!!! Just when I thought I'd found a favorite another one caught my eye. I love all these dramatic eyezones and what a wonderful array of color. I pick 'Odd Man Out' as my absolute favorite (where did you find that one? I have never seen it.). The color is outstanding and I love the form. Next favorite is 'Jurassic Fiesta' (Those oranges really brighten up this cloudy, cold day) and my next is 'Patricia Snyder Memorial'. I also love the cute 'Larkspur Blues'. These is an especially pretty batch. Loved it.

The box arrived this morning! I guess my regular mail-lady was off today because somebody was covering her route and we got ours way ahead of the usual time. But that's ok because it gave me lots of time to rummage through the box! The final count was 36 varieties - 4 kinds of plantlets and the rest leaves. Just about everything was still in good condition. I had to soak the species leaf in sugar water because I really would love to have that one. If it doesn't make it I may have to ask who sent it and beg another leaf. I am going to share some of the leaves with a couple of friends. They will be delighted. But I was able to pull out quite a number that I will keep for myself. Thanks everyone for participating and doing such a great job keeping the box quickly on its journey. I hope you all enjoyed this as much as I did. We'll do it all again for Louise's RR in the fall. Kathy, AB has such wonderful colors. It's a standout in the garden. Lalalandwi, I'm not done with all the B's yet. I won't post all of them, just the best ones.. Vickie, I was suprised to get a melon color from the two crosses. The Orange Parent is from Lee Pickles. It is a beauty too. I guess the form is more from Wedding Band though.. Debra, Be Thine has always been beautiful for me. I love the soft color and she blooms like mad! The first seedling is one with a lost label. I have dug for it but to no avail. I like it too!! Jean, BW is a do gooder. Hehehe!! I moved part of it yesterday and hope I didn't hurt it. Thank you Rita. A beauty for sure and the name seems to fit exactly.. Thank you all for your comments...Ellie

Beautiful color but the two and three petal ones is not lasting like the single petal ones, especially when there is rain everyday, the flowers would become rot after a.few days, mine are like that, it start to have brown spot on the flower and start to rot. Chris

Wow, some real knockout colors in this bunch, but they all have something to recommend them. Patricia Snyder Memorial is always fetching, lots of color with Jurassic Fiesta, and Odd Man Out just jumps out at me. Pretty pattern on Butterfly Ripples, too. Great group!! Avedon

Larkspur Blues, just stunning. They all are beautiful, makes me anxious to see my first blooms from a daylilly not named Stella. Please keep the pictures coming. Gale

Thanks everyone. I did make a mistake on one of my photos. It is really Carolyn Hunt not Carolyn Mann.

Celeste, Odd Man Out was hybridized by some friends of mine CJ and Virginia Gregory we are all members of our local daylily club. Their garden is called Dragonwood and I believe they do have a website. Odd Man Out is their first introduction and is a outstanding grower for everyone that has it in there gardens. They also introduced another DL this year that is called Dragonwood Spellbound and it seems to grow just as well as Odd Man Out.

Patricia Snyder Memorial is a real beauty, but for a real kicker there's the orange of Odd Man Out. All are very pretty and a welcome sight this time of the year.....Maryl
