WANTED: wanted: to say wow,wow,wow!
Comments (22)The serving pieces are really lovely. Lucky you to have such a talented sister. (Mine's a golf pro and I HATE golf!) Opening the dish soap was a hoot. Does that count as a dreaded 4th item? I'll have to look for that wine book. A great title! A great package....See MoreFor MamaP...Over sudsing & Fabric Softener Rescue
Comments (2)Larsi, yes its good to know that there is a fast rescue for time like this Thank You. I had to laugh at those suds..I've only over suds two times so far and neither was that bad..haha. .but I was biting my lip in worry and waiting for *SUDS* to appear on the screen which it didn't.I have learned very quickly if I'm doing a very hot bath on allergen or heavy duty which gets really hot on my machine that it will appear for awhile that I didn't add enough detergent, than the temps climb and BOOM...as you say Suds-A-Rama. I actually think I could be being to cautious with my detergent amounts which is just as bad as using too much, since under dosing is often the cause of stinky washer syndrome. Thank You Larsi..I always like your advice...See MoreQuestion for MamaP
Comments (9)I'm still cranking about Dafna closing..how dare they leave us hanging LOL. I used to buy my STPP by the 20 pound bags, but it dawned on me I won't need as much now..I think 10 pounds at the chem store is 25$ that will do 20 pounds of detergent. .making 30 pounds..that is a LOT of detergent to have on hand for a FL....I think instead of feeding my detergent fix which I've not done for awhile, I'll order the 10# STPP and just mix up small amounts with the detergents I already have. I haven't had any issues with clothes not comming clean with my FL and not using phosphates but I like the added benefit the phosphates give me like better rinsed clothes and it also helps keep the machine clean with regular use. Plus I need it in my dishwasher which just won't give me clean dishes without it. I'm waiting until after my detergent flea market sale to buy it though, which is next week end...I have a busy week this week getting ready for this LOL. Jody have you tried the Sears detergent mixed with STPP? WOW it works great. Really boosts the cleaning power of the Sears and helps strip all the sodium carbonate out leaving everything soft and fresh smelling....See MoreAJAX powder packs arrived. MamaP might be right...Fresh Start!!!
Comments (30)Good, I really get uptight when I mention a detergent than it ends up being a dud lol. I did a full load about 60 flour sack towels, used as non paper towels, so all kinds of food stains some of which sat a week. I don't have cold fill of course so I do a short cool prewash. I use 1/2 of the Ajax pod (yes I open pods when they are powder) than I did my long 154+F wash and used 2 pods..white white & WHITER..not a stain remained. Larsi I'm really glad your having sucess with the Ajax. Now if you could find a Big Lots they are 2.80 a pk. Lol...See Moresparky823
