Bit of a pain but I think I got it. used to be able to cut and paste the links directly. Now I have to open a new tab and use Ctrl - C/Ctrl - V. This process takes more steps than before.

I partially but only partially agree with both zep and mike k. I don't think an 8 year old PC is worth spending any money on, not a cent's worth. Tomorrow it will be something else that will go kaput. And you don't know if the damage is restricted to the keyboard. Use it if you can with an external keyboard but first be sure to take backup copies of any files that are important to you. Yes, I did that once (with red wine) with a brand new net-top PC I'd bought to travel with. Fortunately, the manufacturer's US sales and service HQ is in my area and I felt comfortable having them do the fix. In my case, the damage required replacement of the keyboard AND the motherboard. The cost was just a bit less than half of the purchase cost brand new, so I figured it saved me some money to have the equivalent of a new unit. Again. It taught me to be more careful. Today, I know to never have liquid anywhere near a PC or keyboard. It's not worth it.

My microsoft keyboard MANY years old had several missing letters. It didn't particularly bother me, not new to typing ;0) But I'd lost the upper case of one key, now cannot remember which one it was, and I replaced the keyboard with a Logitech because that was the ergo simple keyboard Staples happened to have in stock that day, trying to limit my trips into stores still. (it was probably a collection of those cookie crumbs Uptown had mentioned). Now I've replaced my computer with an all in one that's working out very well. I'm using the Logitech keyboard still. The all in one came with standard keyboard and mouse and they are white. I'm not a slob, but my mouse and keyboard do get dirty . I've put the white away and will turn to those when needed, but for now I'm fine with my dirt-hiding black that while isn't new, is only a few months old ;0) I have a P-Touch I use to make labels for things, but my tapes are clear with black lettering. It doesn't make helpful stickers for a black keyboard, but does work for plant labels on colored tags, file boxes etc.
