selecting trio of small screening trees along fence for SF bay area

I would like to find a good screening tree to plant in a trio along my back fence to block view of neighbor's new 2-story house. We only need to block the view of their home from our 1st story because we have a big oak tree that provides privacy for our back bedrooms on our 2nd story.

We are on the Peninsula. The trees would get mostly sun and we're looking for something that gets about 15 feet tall and not wide, since we'd like to plant three in a row about 5-6 feet apart.

We are OK with deciduous if the branches are dense enough to provide some screening.

here are some ideas that were proposed to us:

- Capital Callery Pear. This is a columnar tree. I worry about fire blight - is this an issue?

- Cornus Kousa. Do these do well in the SF Bay Area? I would need to find one that is narrow.

- Prunus Caroliniana Compacta Standard. This one is evergreen.

I would really appreciate any other ideas. Thanks.

Julie
