Pine tree feel on dogwood. How do I straighten it back up?
Comments (15)Brandon7, that sounds very condescending. I know a lot about gardening, but not trees. I took the best bits of info and put a reasonable idea on how to fix the tree. Also, currently I have two jobs and no time to take pictures and do research on what other info you think I should provide. That's why I asked here. If this tree didn't mean anything to me I wouldn't have taken the time to cut off every limb with a handsaw then roll the tree off the dogwood, and bruise up my legs so bad that people gave me funny looks at church. I did this in remembrance of Christ, I was taught growing up that this tree symbolized His crucifixion and after what the storm did to my family and I, I needed a personal resurrection of knowing I could actually do something about all the bad events that had happened. Thank you for the luck, but I've got a loving God that will teach me what I need to do to care for His creation....See MoreHow do I get a picture from my computer back into my camera?
Comments (6)Hi Kudzu9, The next time you want the pictures to stay on the camera, simply copy them to the computer. The picture's were on the camera and I transfered 6 picture's from my camera to the computer. With this camera I can put a lock on them to keep from losing them by mistake. I always lock them in, but for some reason I over looked 2 pictures and forgot to put the lock on them. When I put them in the computer, 2 of them were not locked, had they been locked they would have stayed in the cameras memory card. There is nothing unique about it just because it is camera memory. I understand where you are coming from and you probably are more familiar with the digital camera than I am because when they first came out I didn't go out and purchase one right away, I was still using my old style camera. When I purchased my HP Printer I have never had a reason to use the slots for the memory card until now. For you it isn't unique because there are a lot more of them out there now. I am still learning about my camera and the software that came with it and as I learn I become more familiar with it too, it takes time but, I will eventually master how it works and if I run into a problem like I did this time, I trust that I can come here and get excellent help from you all. "Smiles" Thank you for your reply. Hi Owbist, Just happy to be of assistance Thirdfrt. Thank you and I appreciated the fact that you answered me so quickly with a great solution to my problem. It's nice to know that there are other ways to do things in case you have to go that way and I saved your information just in case I would have to go that way. When my 2 youngest grand children were just little tykes I could take well over 150 photos in an afternoon and evening. Many were garbage as I kept the camera on my knee clicking when they presented a suitable shot. I have two young grandchildren ages 8 and 3 years and I take a lot of pictures of them also but, if I don't like what I see I have the option to erase them at that moment and start over. Why save them if they aren't any good right? You must be well coordinated to be able to keep the camera on your knee, if that were me I would be dropping it and getting pictures of the ground instead of the kids. "LOL" Because of that I went out and bought a small tripod for the camera (it also takes videos)and that way I can get better shots or take a video if I want to. It helps. Thanks again for all of your help. thirdfrt!!!...See MoreHelp On How I Can Get My Grown Son Back In My Life
Comments (4)I agree, I think you can only back away at this point. You have tried to contact him numerous times, had your other son try and nothing comes of it. You have to move on with your life. Leave the door open for your son to come back into your life. Let him know you will always love him no matter what. But there is nothing you can do at this moment. Comments (8)I really hope you have been in therapy or at some point will get some.I have been through similar things (although probably not as bad) I was also molested (by a cousin). In my teens I was pretty promiscuious and got mad when people called me a slut because I didnt think I was.In hindsight,I know It was a reaction to all I had exprienced. My mom kicked me out of the house alot and always put her loser boyfriends first too. They never tried anything with me,but were alcoholics and abusive to my mother. My relationship with my mom and sister has been a disaster for the last 15 years.Neither one of them has been there for me at all,and have only made my life more stressful. So I finally went to therapy because it was causing all kinds of problems.Severe anger,depression,anxiety...I learned alot.My therapist said it was more healthy for me to not have them in my life.Of course, they make that impossible, but I have learned to shut them out more and not let them interfere with my life. I think you are doing the right thing.Obviously your mother hasnt changed if she still has Jack in her life.Dont justify your mom's actions by saying you were supposed to help her have a better life. You didnt ask to be born. And unless your a moron, everyone knows having a baby doesnt make life easier! I'm really surprized you turned out so good considering.I have too only because I try to do the opposite of my mom at all costs. Just think how it good it felt to get it all out here.If you had a therapist you could really dig up those issues and even free yourself of all (or at least most) guilt. If you cant afford it,most counties have some kind of free mental health plan.Or on a sliding scale of much money you make. My husband has kinda saved me too.He has been the most stable person I have known. He has put up with alot from me because I was so "flighty" when we met cuz of all the drama.I essentially went to therapy for him, because I didnt want him to have to constantly hear about it or put him through any grief. It sucks to have a crappy family life.I'm sorry about all you have been through. But in a way it's nice to know I'm not the only one....See MoreMtnRdRedux
