Show me or Tell me about your Shaws Fireclay Sink Flange
Comments (0)Do you have a Shaws Fireclay Sink with an Extended Flange with a garbage disposal? Does yours look thin? Does food lodge around its edge and the Shaws sink flange cut-out?...See MoreKroger had red, orange and yellow bell peppers on sale!
Comments (13)Sliced into wedges, eat hummus with them. Or egg salad, instead of bread. Cut them into chunks and then broiled, with onion and tomatoes and mushrooms, as a side for dinner. We get them at Aldi's all the time and our local grocery usually has the red ones for $1 or so, so we eat a lot of them. I don't really like the green ones, so this works out well for us. Last pack from Aldi's had 2 reds and a yellow in it!...See MoreKroger store Ralphs charging 50 cents for cash back
Comments (50)I only use credit unions for my banking; I refuse to patronize commercial banks. There are never fees for using any cash machine at any credit union, not just my own. One of my credit unions has a really high interest rate (for your money being instantly available) on a balance of $12k to 15k (don't recall what it is currently - somewhere between those two amounts) but you have to make a certain number of debit transactions per month to receive the high interest. So I use my debit card at my food co-op, the small grocery store where I shop, the local coffee shop if I don't use drive through, the bird food store, etc. I have no problem reaching the threshold for transactions each month, but I never use the debit at restaurants or gas stations or larger grocery chains (which I seldom patronize anyway). I purchase all my gas at Costco (for the most part) and use their credit card. I think they rebate 5% at the end of the year. It's a nice little bonus and makes paying for membership a bargain....See MoreKroger delivery today
Comments (23)We go to a grocery once a week, generally early and always with a mask (N95), no gloves as they are useless. Today we ventured to Costco for the first time in a long time. I was very disappointed as they usually stock on Tuesday and Thursday nights and they were out of a lot of things today. Didn’t need paper products but I didn’t see any. Haven’t seen hand sanitizer anywhere since this started. There was a list of things posted by the door of things they did not have, and chicken was on the list. Costco’s meat selection in general was terrible. we did buy some wine, olive oil, and a few other assorted items. Got to Publix and they had plenty of chicken, most with the Publix organic label, Springer or Perdue label. Of course we do live in a heavy chicken-producing state, so there is that. A few of the chicken plants (Tyson Farms) here have been hot spots for worker outbreaks. Workers who spoke out anonymously say there was pressure to work long hours and not take off even if sick for fear of losing their jobs. I don’t know. It’s probably not much different at any other plant....See Moresheilajoyce_gw
