I put down liquid Dim, never gran, in sept time frame and it WILL help with POA. It is not as good as prograss but it is cheaper per gallon and does more control. Both product here have there pros/cons. The Nov treatment of Dim is a 50/50 here might be okay and might be a waste of time and money. I have found that dim does not have a 3 months window nor effective on many braodleaves. It it slightly less and doing one app is not the best. But doing 2 full apps in the fall and 2 full apps in the spring is illegal. It is over the limit of the AI. Read the 2.5 gallon jug or the bag. Then throwing on Dim in Auguest could/can burn the grass up in the northeast east since it base is pretro (oil). That is why many wait for cooler weight here. Plus if using gran you are adding more then most times, needed.

John, thanks for the info on the drains and the flood test. Waterproofing is definitely a priority since our project has been complicated by uncovering evidence of water leaks that were previously unknown. We're in Michigan, unfortunately, too far away to take you up on your kind offer! I know that our door situation isn't ideal but it's one that we feel we can live with. We had considered using a pocket door but we're not able to relocate electrical switches to allow for it. I didn't try too hard to work around that issue though because I'm not a big fan of pocket doors personally. I know that a 3rd sink would seem to be overkill but we (ok, mostly my micro-biologist husband!) prefer to wash our hands inside the lav area, before opening a door to come out and use a sink. Originally, the water closet fit within the square outline of the room and once we realized that we could bump it out and orient the toilet in the new space, we then added the sink where the toilet was planned to go. It's funny that you mention a bidet because we just tore one out... I used to use it for in-home pedicures and as a mop-sink for the floor! Lol! I should have mentioned that the shower head and control were shown on our drawing prior to the decision to hinge the door on the right. She correctly put the showerhead on the little corner piece because we can't run plumbing on an exterior wall but, as you pointed out, it angles straight at the door. We were thinking of instead having the NE corner of the shower built to accommodate a shower head that could angle more straight across the shower, especially since the door would swing away from it. It would seem that our controls then would be best on the south wall of the shower. Could you explain what you mean by "double acting door intent"? I'm not planning to hang towels in the tub area but there are raised areas on each end of the tub where towels can be placed while we are bathing. We've designed towel niches on either end of the tub step for extra rolled towels. We're planning to put a Runtal Solea towel warmer on the wall between the water closet and the shower. This is pretty much what the room looks like now... You can look right down into my kitchen and my dining room(!) The bifold door to the left of the ladder is my old linen closet door and will be walled off.

I had a similar situation. My sofa came with a chipped (small) back leg. I noticed it and the delivery guys had these "clay" thing that got molded into the chipped part, once there it would harden and "never" come off---according to them. So fine...I like you figured was willing to let it go at that. BUT ..when they turned the sofa over, the guys left a red-brown stain on the sofa arms--and then he tried to clean it with windex! While cleaning we noticed a seam rip on both arms. He advised to keep the sofa(apparently...this is the way it's done), take pictures and email to customer service. They would exchange the sofa. Well after he left, we did this and emailed. Turns out they (FLS) does not do that, but they would pick up the sofa, fix it and return it..no charge. Of course, now a whole summer has gone by and I am still waiting. I also noticed a rip in the cloth under one of our ottomans..which they said they would fix. (this was noticed ..after I signed the papers). My advice is to take good digital pictures....inform them of the dent and whatever else you are willing to overlook. REMIND them how much you have spent,return customer etc.... I would work directly with the head customer service person on this. Keep following up. AND mention the fact that you have heard that other furniture companies do not charge...so why should you have to pay. I am always amazed that we consumers spend so much money on fine furniture. (they follow us like hound dogs when we are shopping) and then when something comes damaged they don't even want to acknowledge you. Customer service has just gone out the door. Sorry have to vent, I was in customer service over 13 years..and it bugs me. Good luck. But one thing I know...is you have to be persistent.

Oh, thanks. Mine is covered by a green 99+ which probably means things I should have been looking at! But the bell is under there. Now, how to I get rid of the 99+ that is on top of it? I tried clicking on it and I do see all the threads that pop up. I wonder if I have to actually go to each one to make them disappear?
