This king of shocked me
Comments (12)OK, I know nobody's going to believe me without pictures but many years ago I planted a Kent seed under an avocado tree and the seedling wasn't growing much at all and I forgot about it. After 2 years, I saw a flower spike on the approx 8 inch tall seedling and it actually developed a small fruit that grew to the size of a grape. There were lots of weeds where this seedling was growing and it was literally 2-3 ft away from the trunk of the avocado tree. I wasn't going to post this for fear of the inevetable doubt regarding my claim but it brings up the important observation of early fruiting from seedlings which have been pretty much neglected. Is it the weeds that somehow cause the early flowering and in my case fruiting or is it some other sort of stress?...See MoreI am still in shock at the nerve
Comments (8)Goodness gracious! How irresponsible! This goes back to the License to Breed thing. How can someone who can't even remember money to pay for her own movie have children? LOL! I'd have paid, as well, and laughed about it later, as well. I do it all the time. For instance, X has been "so broke" lately. I usually give him and GF each one of DS's school pictures (wallet-sized) and I give XMIL a 5x7 every year (for DS to give as her b-day gift). Well he goes into this sob story about how he wishes he could have the 5x7 to put on his desk at work because the one he has is from a couple of years ago. So I suggest he can scan the wallet and blow it up and reprint. He says they don't have any paper for their printer. So I gave him a 3x5. The next night, I get a notice from the AG that he has filed to have his CS decreased. Makes me want to go to his house and get my friggin picture back! If he's going to be that selfish, I she be able to as well. But I wouldn't be able to live with myself if I treated him the same way he treats me. Oh well. At least you were the bigger person. Take pride in that....See MoreI am in a state of shock and fury!!! Floor disaster...
Comments (35)Yes it will be done by the weekend. Just in time for appliances. I am heading there now to get the "correct" cans. And I will sample the new mix before leaving the store. And yes, I usually ignore and don't engage, but since I had to remain calm all weekend I couldn't hold back on this one. I got it all out and I am pleased with today's events. Thanks again!...See MoreI'm Shocked..
Comments (4)Only positive things should be on a Christmas card. I started dialysis this year too,and I know my chances for a quick transplant are nil, but I only write cheerful things on my cards....See More- 10 years ago
