More 'quotes' of famous men in government!
Comments (5)He needed to stop yackin and get crackin! Instead of sittin around talkin pretty he should of been filling out his monthly Mastercard statement and headin for the post office! No wonder the interest keeps going up! Even our forefathers were deadbeats! My Mama always said "Pretty is as pretty does." I think there is much wisdom in that statement and the older that I become the more apparent it becomes...LALA TEE DAH Denny...See MoreTurnin' the tables here...what do you like your MEN to sleep in?!
Comments (27)He sleeps in briefs and a white short-sleeve undershirt....tucked in. I've told him I'll know if an alien has taken over his body if I don't see that undershirt tucked in. When we first married I asked him if he wanted to wear PJs and he said nope. For years he slept in a t-shirt which bothered me because it looked like he was sleeping in his clothes. He finally agreed to switch to white undershirts that he doesn't wear during the day. He's OCD about wearing a shirt of some kind to bed, thinks he'll catch is death during the night if he doesn't, lol. He wont' sleep in the buff but he's not shy about walking around the house naked... brushing his teeth, going out to the kitchen for a glass of water...don't know how he can be so free-willy about it, I could never do that!...See MoreWho are the men who live in these homes?
Comments (38)I agree with most of the posts above. And personally this type of decor is a bit too stimulating for my tastes...like a Montissori classroom. My take is that this is urban country 2.0. These houses are bright, have a lot of contrast and visual clutter. It is an inexpensive style to do. And it is interesting and allows for creativity. Here is also what I think is going on... IMHO, true country living and its decor (that is, one lives in a farm and has land, animals, gardens, crops....) the barn, shop, and mechanical outbuildings are considered to be functional and unless its a garden shed or summer kitchen, the man's domain. No frills, flowers, etc. allowed. Bt the farmhouse though also a working kitchen and housekeeping space is considered to be a reflection of the woman of the house. So it is more expected to have whatever decor the woman would want, as a comfort against the hard work the family does, and to be house-proud and family-proud. So the overall household would have a balance of masculine and feminine spaces....See MoreMen wear PJ's????
Comments (19)Oh wow, so it's universal?!?! We first noticed the Jammie Generation a couple of months ago. We were doing a little shopping at Kroger when Jenny suddenly tugged at my shirt sleeve and whispered excitedly in my ear; Joey, Joey, is that couple in their pajamas?!?! After a teeny bit of sleuthing it was obvious, yes! Hey, I'm not talking about warm comfy sweats or something semi sleep wear, I'm talking about obvious thin and sheer PJ's complete with fuzzy lined house shoes. Since then the pajama thing has lost its surprise factor as there will usually be a few folks choosing that attire on any given morning. Also, this wasn't a tweenie/twenty something couple. Pushing 40 if not over.. real, real tacky! I freely admit to a double standard concerning the pj patrol. Youth is beautiful in any attire and almost any fad, wear the pajamas! When you're in your 40's and choose to walk around the store in your pajamas? You're trying too hard my friend and you just look stupid. Unfortunately I've seen a few guys my age in the pajamas. Geez. Honest, if I were to complain about the twenty-somethings walking around the store in their pajamas it would be from envy because I can't get away with it....See Morehappy2b…gw
