Yikes! I thought I had less...
Comments (6)Welcome to the world of the evil spreadsheet!! Years ago I was blissfully ignorant of the real number of roses that I had, and then I put them into a spread sheet. One hundred and twenty give or take turned into 250 in a big hurry! Same with the daylilies... I have found that the best way to buy them is to keep a hand written list to order from, and not put them in to the spreadsheet until they ARRIVE. Then it is too lake to reconsider and you have to plant them. You can pick up quite a few more each planting season that way without feeling guilt until afterwards! :) Julie...See MoreRefrigerator. Do you remember to do this?
Comments (19)Thanks. A great tip, dedtired. You should post this in the Discussions. Refrigerator works the same way as an air conditioner mechanically. The "coil" is called condensing coil. Sometimes under the unit, sometime vertically in the back. Sometimes there is a little fan to help cool the coil which will also need cleaning. If it is not cleaned, the coil cannot dissipate heat well, the compressor will overwork against greater back pressure, your fridg will not cool efficiently, you will pay more in electric charge, and your unit will breakdown eventually with an expensive compressor replacement fee. For many models, you also should take out the tray under the unit to completely wash it. That's the tray to catch water from the freezer defrosting. It is disgusting the dried up dirt collected on it. Also, there may be a little tube that goes from the freezer to the tray which drains freezer water to the tray. You will find there is a lot of gummy green growth inside the tube which will need to be cleaned. If you have dogs and cats, you will need to clean the coil more often. dcarch...See MoreWW's Support Monday 11/6~~~Sunday11/12
Comments (12)Mexican food is always OK in my book...LOL life is too short not to enjoy at the place where you are in your weight loss...when I actually get to goal I will be a little more tolerant of splurging than I am now.....although I admit that even now when I get a real thing going for a piece of pizza or for dessert as in real dessert, I just do it because I can do it and get right back on the plan and if I don't I'll end up going off and binging...Everyone has to decide for themselves how to handle it but my plan works for me...A few weeks ago I had to make a cake for a gathering...then of course I wanted some, in the end I ate 1 piece and put all the leftovers in the freezer.....I can't easily get to it ...works for me....but I'd eat the Mexican fool and be guilt free about it if I was at goal like you are...Life is for living...and enjoying....and that's pretty easy to do once you learn not to be a Mz Piggy ......See MoreYikes! I get to choose my paint colors! I'm nervous.....
Comments (13)fairytalebaby, I'm so excited for you. I remember your beautiful setting when you posted over on Building a Home. When we picked out paint colors before we had furniture we also stuck to neutral. It's hard enough to choose paint when you have actual materials you are trying to match but without the furniture, neutrals are your friend. As for the ceiling. There is no rule, only personal preference. I was formally a white ceiling kinda gal but the more I looked at new homes and some beautiful shots here on Garden Web, the more I really wanted to try some color. I love it now and can't even imagine going back to white ceilings. I'm a total convert. Some like a 50% cut of their wall color. Some like light gray (like Ellen Kennon's Gustavian Gray) Some like cream. It's totally up to you! Good Luck and can't wait to see what you're picking out for your interior! Beautiful Home!
