Part 1: http://forums2.gardenweb.com/discussions/3457709/recovering-ginseng-ficus-advice?n=18

FIXED/UPDATED CONDITIONS

Into a much smaller pot, since generously cutting off root rot.

POT: 4' diameter pot, 4.5' high, very small : )
SOIL: 1/2 miracle grow african violet mix, 1/4 small cut mulch, 1/4 rocks/gravel. No more sand, I put rocks ontop : )

LIGHT: Under a CFL light 5-6 hours a day

WATER: Once weekly with hydrogen peroxide (yes, I know the right ratio : ) )

FERTILIZER: Not yet

UPDATE SINCE 10/25
New Growth everywhere! The leaves that had been suffering from chlorosis (due to the root rot...) have recovered! They've turned back to a bright green and no leaves have fallen off since. No new leaves have come in yet, but there are new growths that have sprouted and they are growing very quickly. There are even new branches that are starting! Gortys looks very good since the repot.

Ready for this manic face? lol.

She is as happy as me in that second photo LOL. I've had dreams about her, too. That she grows to be 100 years old and really big. I absolutely adore my plants!
