Comments (4)I have a window/french door combination in the kitchen that faces north. The kitchen will be opened up to the dining room (layout is somewhat similar to yours), which has another north facing window, and one east facing window. Right now, the wall prevents most of that eastern light from entering the kitchen. I love the look of Dauphin in your pics, but it seems SO dark on my fandeck. I love stoney ground, but I think it would read too light for the cabs. I do think that it would would for the walls in the kitchen or dining room. My trim is Ben Moore Marscapone, which is pretty identical to F&B Pointing. I am thinking maybe Light Gray on the cabinets- which would work well with stainless and the soapstone, but would keep from getting to dark after the am sun leaves the room. Mouse's Back also seems to be too dark to me, and honestly I can't get past the name of this color! I have been torn for quite some time as to doing all the cabs the same color, or doing the bases a darker color and doing the uppers a lighter color similar to or the same as the walls. I am considering Shaded White, Off-White, Lime White, and Clunch. For the ceilings, probably White Tie for the dining room (and adjacent living room) and possible Pale Powder for the kitchen ceiling, which will be boards. I am also considering painting the sashes something other than the Marscapone, either something darker (maybe Dauphine?), or similar to the cabinets (Light Gray?). My front door, and back french door are high gloss FPE black. Thanks!! Amy...See Morenorar_il
