I'm guilty of the washer light staying on for more than 3 minutes and I want a laser thermometer.

When you start hiding your laundry product purchases from your spouse or significant other, that would be a good indicator that there's a problem! guilty!

When you realize you are oversplaining laundry results and the eye rolling starts.

On a serious note. I've had a couple health scares. And what goes thru my mind EVERY time is, "When I die & my family finds my laundry stash they will think I was nuts".

When you shop for a washing machine even though you have a perfectly good one.

When you buy Miele UltraWhite at the Miele experience store in Chicago and take it home with you on the plane. After explaining to the TSA that it's only laundry soap. :-)

I've also started doing the gas station/corner store pass bys to see what they have!

Wanting to buy a older and USED TL with all the bells and whistles-also watching YouTube videos of washers in action. Getting it on my big screen tv when no one is around is even better. Like listening to a aquarium! ALSO=I fixed my own washer 2 weeks ago and I can watch it agitate with the lid open. Happy happy!!

Watching and bookmarking your favourite YouTube videos of washing machines and dryers.

Making a cup of coffee, pulling up a chair and watching the washing machine for 1:06....to see every step and make sure it does each step when it should.

Telling a little white lie that you need to go to Target to get a glue stick, razor blades and some hefty bags....when you just want to go and see if any laundry products have been changed, or if anything new arrived!!! And then of course you come home with an unneeded glue stick, razor blades and hefty bags. LOL

Telling myself, I WILL NOT buy one more laundry detergent or softener until I use 90% of what I have!! Oh look.....a new sports wash on Amazon!!!

@Larsi... you should really try the Glad ForceFlex trash bags, with Febreze. You can never have enough trash bags anyway ;)

You stand over your TL and just watch it work. Use a flashlight to see it all work. Guilty of 90% of all of the above! Yeah when I had the FL I would pull up a chair and watch it. Hubby shaking his head and rolling his eyes! Doesn't take much to entertain us!

As a small child my Mom & Grandma always put a step stool in front of the washer because I would watch for hours. I asked everyday if it was laundry day. I would rummage thru the house just to find something else to add to the wash.

My Halloween costume at age 8 was a Tide box. We took a huge cardboard box, cut a hole in the top for my head & the sides for my arms. We used paint & made it look exactly like a real box of Tide. Mom has the pictures, I told her to find them so I can post them.

mama-I did! I fixed my washer!! After it filled with water it jut stopped. Nada. I Youtubed the problem to make sure, got out my tools spliced and taped and added bonus now I get to watch my washer, which has excellent turnover! Love this thread!

When I'm done washing and drying, I line up the baffles in both the washer and dryer so they are either at a 12'oclock or 6'oclock position...like this.

(so they look photo-ready)
