Tide Original Powder, changed??!! :(
Comments (40)I agree. It smells lousy. The same could be said for Dawn detergent, once lovely and now..UGH! These idiots can't leave well enough alone. And don't get me started on how "they" changed all the great perfumes into practically the same scent no matter what you buy..it smells like fly spray....See MoreMORE Classic, Original Tide HE powder arrived :)
Comments (52)Elizabeth...I agree about the real original Tide, not much could ever beat that scent, but you will find here many refer to the Tide scent change in the 70's as the original Tide scent. Probably because they are too young to recall the Real original Tide LOL. I have to say...powders can and will decompose over time if they were stored in wet or humid conditions..they can also lose their scent if they are stored in warehouses with no temp control...that being said if you find a box of powder that is free flowing its most likely fine. Store it away from water sources, humidity, and bright light and it should be fine for many many years......P&G is not going to get into all of this other than what the experation date is for various reasons. Like Mich I also have found discontinued detergents/scents more often in pharmacys that are in great new condition. Probably because a pharmacy isn't selling a lot of it so it sits on a shelf in a nice climate controlled store. But let that nice box you find sit in your laundry room on a shelf and not use it, than boom its going to be clumps in a short period of time from the humid room. It all depends on the condition of the powder detergent when you get it and how you store it as to whether its going to still be stable in 10 years....See MoreOriginal, Original Scent Tide powder + STPP
Comments (12)Alex, consider Tide Pro, its formulated a bit different than what we buy off the shelf. Its formulated to be near neutral PH in order for hotel laundry to hold up to daily washing, so it would be a good choice for a less caustic detergent yet still have great whitening properties. It does in fact have extra sodium percarbonate in it. So all in all it will whiten and be gentle at the same time. Le Blanc and Forever New are both boutique detergents, which I've never found to be anything more than perfumed water, but these two are actually good at what they are intended to do, clean the sheets gently, leaving them with a *finished* feel to them. If you do decide to try one, I'd suggest you try them first with no FS, I think you will be impressed with the silky smooth feel of the sheets. Also ment to say the Tide Pro has a near neutral PH where the Tide with Bleach powder off the shelf has a PH of about 11....See MoreOriginal Tide "he" turbo works WELL. Very WELL!
Comments (15)about the camera formatting. I see you have an iphone. When you look at the bottom right of the screen, when the camera is on, there is a graphic that looks like 3 circles in 3 tones of grey. What I've discovered is that they work like a gyroscope, for lack of a better word. to get the camera to display the way you are shooting the pic or video, you need to make sure that the mid tone circle is in the up position. When you turn it, to take a pic with a horizontal layout, it is possible to turn the camera and the 3 circles don't spin into position, so it continues to take pic as it was before you turned it. So take your camera out and play around with those circles and you will know what I mean. Now, this is what I believe to be the facts, but its only something I discovered, so I could be totally wrong, lol (but I think I am right:)...See Moresparky823
