water

Since I don't want to be bothered with voicemail, I don't have it set up :)

Sue

oh yeah... voicemail! A few years ago, there was a span of several months when I frequently received LONG voicemail recordings at work... each recording was at least a couple minutes long and consisted of odd muffled noises, and then a disconnect. I always thought it was someone calling from a lab where there was too much interference to hear.... until there was finally a call where I heard my BF's voice yelling about some putt that had been missed. All that time I was randomly being pocket-dialed by my friend from the golf course. Their phone stays in the car now. LOL!

water was my first thought too. I'll go for something different:

windshield washer fluid (I have no idea if it has an expiration date. :)

toothpaste

My voicemail comes via printed text in an email, but I still have to listen to it sometimes. It transcribes so poorly, it's hilarious! One message I got was about pharmacogenomics (to show you a word many would likely have trouble understanding. So I give it that!), and it transcribed as livers and kidneys. I was really confused until I listened. Not even close!

My first thought was toothpaste, too.

Mascara.

mascara was my alternate thought

;)

Pop.

gasoline

marriages. (Ok that was a little facetious but I'm in a bad mood today. Maybe I should stay off KT today.)

Makeup! Look at the bottom of the jar (or whatever type container it is in) for the little symbol that looks like a jar with the lid off. The little number written on that jar symbol (often it's 12 or 24) represents the number of months the product is "good" from the time it's first opened.

Edited to add -- this applies to all "makeup" products, not just foundation and mascara. Eyeshadows, eyeliners, moisturizers, etc., all have "expiration dates."

I haven't ever seen a makeup product that has an actual date for expiration -- it's always just the little jar symbol with the number of months it is "good" after it has been opened.

Bleach - it does degrade

I was going to say Coke, but Janey beat me to it. (I am not getting up before dawn to be first in at the trivia quiz. I'm just not.)

Does anyone use it anymore? I'll say photographic film.

Boy, do I hate voicemail. I have my finger on the delete button and as soon as the number of the caller is given, I hit delete. Very seldom do I listen to one.
