Comments (7)I'm terrible about lenses I use the same 70 300 with stabilizer for everything! It is so much like SDLM I don't think it would make any difference to propagate it. I got a Chimera this year also part pink part white that usually happens in the fall for some reason! src="http://imagizer.imageshack.us/v2/1600x1200q90/841/ndh83.jpg" border="0"> SDLM has about 40 blooms. Kronprincessin is just about 5 ft tall and had about 30 blooms madam Wagram continues to be disappointing after 5 years I have only ever gotten 3 blooms in a Spring Flush Pat Austin & Capt Dyel de Graville The Spring Blooms always nod the 2nd flush they usually remain upright I have one other sport of SDLM which is SDLM Rouge and it has struggled for 3 years now & is still only about 1 foot tall & I cut the bud off it hoping for more growth!...See MoreWhat's cookin'?
Comments (32)Oh those look great ! I have a couple kinds of apples and buttermilk so I think I will make them tomorrow. Looks like she has a lot of really nice recipes. Thanks for linking it. We are back to sunny days...but 40's at night. Will be mid 70's again next week. I posted on the Kitchen forum the pretty cookies that DH made...they are Italian and chocolate...what else can you ask for ??? DH made omlettes tonight with sauteed red onion and red bell pepper. He added cheddar and finished them under the broiler...they puff so nicely. I had some tomatillo sauce leftover so i heated that up and we spooned it over...oh wow...it was so yummy. I also made grits in the double boiler. Never have done that before. They take longer but are really creamy and no sticking and also no stirring. Had homemade Challah and homemade elderberry jam and that was that. c...See MoreWhat's Cookin!
Comments (7)Breezy, at least a total of 25"+ on the ground. Weatherman said we got freezing drizzle in the middle of the night. It's about 30° out there right now. I have chicken breasts topped with StoveTop Stuffing in the crockpot. I made myself a calendar for Feb/Mar yesterday and put the number of days till spring on each of the days. Each morning I will cross off another day. 30 more to go!!! (I did this on how many days I had till retirement and found it to be a little help.) Shirley...See MoreWhats everyone cookin this week?
Comments (26)Since going back to work after having Dan, I do as much of my cooking and preparation on Sunday for the week as I can. I can't be bothered to 'cook' after work. This also saves clean up during the week usually. I've also been trying to use up stuff I already have one hand so that has guided my choices this week. I spent less on groceries this week than I have in ages. Monday: Spaghetti and Meat Sauce, breadsticks The meat sauce and spaghetti are both cooked and stored separately. I will heat them both up after work while I cook the bread sticks (frozen) in the toaster oven Tuesday: Smothered Chicken and Rice I cooked the peppers, onions and mushrooms today. I'll marinate the chicken the Tuesday morning before I leave for work. I'll cook the chicken on the Griddler (or maybe the the gas grill), top with the vegetable mixture and some cheddar cheese. It's a knockoff of something I've had in a restaurant. I'll heat up the rice that I cooked today and add some seasonings to it. Wednesday: An Asian pork medallion recipe that's quick enough to cook after work with ramen noodles (not something I cook a lot but Nick loves them and since we're already having rice on Tuesday, it's something fast and different). Egg rolls in the toaster oven. Thursday: Hot dogs with sauerkraut, French fries. We always have salad on hand too. Friday we leave for Great Wolf for the weekend....See More
