As I saw suggested in another thread, I starting using Bayer Disease Control on my potted Guacamole about 6 weeks ago after the leaves started prematurely but slowly dying off in July. Due to our long, rainy and sunless spring I believe it stayed wet for too long. I also think some of it was due to my potting soil being old and worn out and not properly draining. I have given it two good soakings. There are still 10 leaves left from the spring but all are at least partially dried up. In the last three weeks new pips started popping up and opening, although the leaves are small. There are probably 10-12 new leaves. I don't if that's good, bad or neither, but I wanted to report what has happened for others to know about.

I plan to repot it in the spring so I can give the roots a good inspection.
