Without knowing the look you are going for, I would go out on a limb and say the St Croix Brown. I like the continuity of a similar floor throughout the house especially if the house is contemporary in feel. For a very traditional home I would go for the contrast that you see in older homes with the black and white tile bathroom floors but with 18 X 18 tiles you seem to be looking at something more clean-lined and contemporary. The dark tile looks like it would work as long as it doesn't make the hardwood take on some weird hue where they meet up or vice-versa. Have you tried the tiles against the hardwood to make sure of that?

What about the bar pulls on the 4 larger drawers and a knob on the two smaller ones? It would cut your expenses, plus solve the dilemma of different size bars. I just looked for my inspiration pics on knobs/pulls for my bath remodel, but I must have deleted. With apologies for yet again posting pics of my vanity....this is what I did. Not exactly the same set up as yours, but you can at least see what I mean. The small drawers are just false fronts on really long drawers, just to visually break up that too long expanse.

Thanks to both of you! About the white wall, would this not look too washed out behind the white toilet and white vanity? In terms of using wallpaper everywhere my contractor is saying that it might get ruined by water or any mess from the toilet (3 boys in the house). Would you say that's untrue in your experience?
