advice? or show me your inexpensive pulls?

Hi all-

I've tried posting pics all morning of our kitchen with no luck. We are starting our refacing project tomorrow and still have no pulls. I wasn't crazy about the couple of pulls they had to choose from so they will credit me $4/pull if I find my own. Very tough for indecisive me. Any help or pics of yours would be most appreciated.

This is our style of door, cherry in a darker color (but not as dark as espresso)

We have light hardwood floors, granite counters, SS appliances. Our house is fairly traditional so I don't want anything too modern looking. I like simple pulls, something that won't take away from the cabinet in a brushed/satin finish which also won't break the bank.

Any ideas? I know I shouldn't be stressing about pulls but I am already regretting my cabinet door choice so don't want to make another mistake on the pulls. Thank you!!!!

I have Amerock Revitalize. They have a substantial feel with room for your hand. About $5 on Amazon.

I have these, and I like them a lot. Low price, decent quality. They come in 3.75", 5", 6.25".

Sloane-We think your photos convinced us to select satin/brushed nickel. Lovely view! Labbie-We will look at Top Knobs web site - beautiful kitchen Mayflowers-the ORB does not look dated and is a nice choice for you kitchen-especially with the lighter floor and counters. @MaWizz - your second picture was one of my inspiration photos. And although I wanted cabinets like in that second picture, I knew they would likely get trashed quickly with kids actively using the kitchen. My second choice was tab pulls but was talked out of it from a pure functionality standpoint. In a working kitchen with kids it is easier to pull handles (using one clean pinky finger of an otherwise drippy dirty hand). Finally, when I asked a local designer she said handles are like buttons on a shirt. She felt the kitchen needed that accent as it's not an ultra-modern kitchen - but rather more transitional. Hope that helps.

We have a chair in the corner of the living room that only gets used very occasionally, so I didn't want to spent a lot, and I wanted something kind of fun. I ended up finding this chair at Target for, I think, $59.99. The fabric has the exact right colors for our living room. We have a couple of ottomans that can be used in a pinch, too.

I got my pulls from Lowes and I still love them. I would try there.

I'm sorry you regret your cabinet choice. Why? I think that style will look nice in the darker stain.

funkycamper- I'm hoping I'll love it when I see it in the darker stain. Second guessing because everyone seems to be doing shaker style and I never had a chance to see a sample door in the style i ordered.

I have the same ones as Mayflowers and 5 years after installing them I still love them. I bought mine through Lee Valley.

I'm using Amerock Revitalize for my remodel. They are only installed on the island cabinets so far, but they look great and seem very functional. I got the 6.25" pulls for 36" drawers and that seems fine, in case that's useful info.

We have the Amerock Retivalize pulls and knobs as well. Love them! Everyone comments on how comfortable they are for your hand.

Mine were super cheap at Overstock but very trad. Almost two years later, I am still pleased, and just used them again in our laundry reno. It was the only thing in the blasted kitchen that didn't cost us a fortune: Stone Mill

We bought the Gliderite 10" from Overstock...very affordable but admittedly probably too modern for what you are looking for.

I love your door style! It's just a little bit dressy and is a good choice for a traditional home and stained cherry. I have natural cherry with a beveled Shaker door. I used the ORB pulls but the brushed nickel will look great on stained cherry.

I also used Amerock Revitalize (ORB on white cabs). I almost went with their Highland Ridge instead but am so glad I didn't. The Revitalize project out more than most other pulls, so they are easier to grab, resulting in less wear and tear on your cabinets since you shouldn't end up grazing them with your fingers like you might with other pulls. They don't look like they are bigger though - they are just very elegant.

We've just bought these Knobs. I'm in th UK but they are an American brand. The site I've linked isn't where we finally bought ours from, found a better price, but this is the most informative one. They do a drop pull and a t-pull too

i agree with guy in the video, they are lovely and weighty. I also love the backplate and the fact that it isn't bigger than the knob.

I have Hafele model #107.18.613, brushed nickel; purchased at Knobs-N-Pulls.com for $2.50 each with free shipping -- but the screws had to be purchased separately.
