Remember... some of us want to see M. le bebe wearing some of the luxurious knitted finery that awaited his arrival... ummm... BOOTIES? how about booties and nothing else? (will prove indispensible for blackmail in the his teen years). :)

Urlee, I love the guitar with the picture!! Great job! I guess I'll have to make some sigs with my name....Marcia. On a whole bunch of other forums I go by the name of Tedster as I collect teddy bears and got the name years ago from one forum.

Wakefield, MA became the home of Wakefield Rattan Co in 1836. It prospered for many years and after founder Cyrus Wakefield's death, the company merged with Heywood Bros. Gardner, Ma. The company was then called Heywood-Wakefield. If you are lucky enough to have a piece, it has become valuable…i.e. you can grab this little table on 1stdibs for $4850.00!

If the problem is that the current fabric is too busy and distracts from the carved wood, I don't see how the above suggestions help the problem. Though I personally don't think the fabric is particularly busy (it's pretty tone-on-tone, and from a distance, it definitely doesn't look busy), or particularly dated. But I will concede it doesn't really compliment the fabric on your other chairs. What about a stripe fabric picking up one of the colors from the rug. I think I see green in the larger rug--maybe a green and cream stripe? Or a solid, or very subtle pattern in green?
