Got mine today too! Walked down the street to the mailbox in the snow and ice for it lol I saw carolinaflowerlover got seeds and i had to check!! SO many things, i really wanted from my list so thank you for the thoughtfulness put into this Sassy! And in my madness, i ripped alot of gifts open without putting names to them but thank you everyone for the gift ones too!! I started off with so little to try this year and I have so much to revitalize alot of the old gardens!! I can't wait to share pics with everyone later this year! Since I didn't really keep everything seperated to thank everyone individually for the gifts (i'm sorries :( ), here's some of my favorite things that I thought I wouldn't get or that I'm looking forward to trying the most: Lavender Hyssop....never really thought about it till i looked it up and it attracts bees and butterflies...well thats a keeper for sure! :) Docmom, i was looking at an old post about your malva and i was so impressed with the deep purple and i really wanted it so I saw you had it on your list and searched in vain yesterday, to find something to impress you lol well I guess someone heard my prayers on that one! Daylily! (poisondartfrog) - really didn't expect to get any daylily seeds to try this year and i can't wait. all i have is the wild orange ones and stella de orro lol Trumpet Lilies....love lilies! :) Zinnias! (yes i said zinnias!), again i was looking at old pics by people and i saw someone who had a bed of these and they looked so pretty! so i will attempt to make a bed of these, just as nice! lol so many more, in fact, i could probably keep listing all of them but really i am so happy with my seeds!! thank you and i hope this swap will take place again! :) Happy winter sowing everybody!! :) ~Michael

Have you tried popping (as I call it) to your new IP address which would be different from your Verizon IP address, now that you are using Cablevision? Now, I haven't done this in years, as I don't POP email anymore, but Outlook and your ISP should have very specific instructions on how to do this. If you are receiving your e-mail via an e-mail account with Cablevision, their FAQs should have the answer or just do a search for POP3 e-mail on their homepage. If you use IE, you should be able to go under tools and open port 10061 if your security software or modem have disabled it. If you are using a router, you can turn off Windows firewall, which will solve a ton of problems. Check your IE settings. IE thinks most people are too stupid to use the internet and has ludicrous default settings that stop everything from getting in but viruses. Also, it is imperative your modem and router are speaking the same language. On the surface, it would seem so as you can get online. However, you may have to let your router "phone home" and tell it to receive POP3 from the manufacturers diagnostic page. Your modem should be fairly open to the internet, it's the router that acts as a gatekeeper. A few more of the myriad of reasons I use gmail and Firefox. Trade you a couple orchids for a phone call to help you out. L

I myself (having used Outlook 2007) don't know enough about these things to know whether it might be something about your recipients' mail settings or not. But if you're able to send an email successfully to yourself with the image showing inline, it might mean that something about your version of Outlook (what version is it, btw? 2003? 2007? 2010?) is triggering the removal of the image from the body of the message. But I would think if that were the case, then your recipients would at least get the notification "some images have been removed for your safety; click here to display them." Incidentally, you said you sent the test emails to yourself. I take it you viewed those messages in your offline client (Outlook). Did you also view them in your webmail to see if they displayed inline there as well? As another resource, you might want to check the Outlook forums here. I've used them in the past and have gotten good help. I did a quick search there for your issue and found two from 2010 here and here. In neither case did the OP continue the thread, so I have no idea if anything was resolved, but the answers didn't seem to encouraging. :-( But if your version of Outlook is more recent than those available at the time, there may be different settings to try, so you may wish to inquire there anyway. ???

Hi, There isn't. Perhaps you're thinking of the WLMD (Windows Live Mail Desktop) email client--though I think they have renamed it "Windows Live Mail." At present it's only in beta. http://get.live.com/betas/maildesktop_betas You could always go into Outlook Express and subscribe to the OE or WLMD newsgroup(s) and see what's what.
