rhizo, I'm salivating for a piece of that lasagna. We had one pan orecchiette with a spicy chicken sausage. I needed a quickie dinner with little mess involved because I'm busy packing and cleaning so we can get on the road first thing in the morning.

I had a yummy gyro.

rhizo, do you mean that you sub'd sliced zucchini for the lasagna noodles, or that you added zucchini to the meat & cheese filling? either way sounds good.

Quick dinner here too -- hot day, so I made tuna & pasta salad, sweet corn, and sliced tomatoes and zucchini.

My husband is on the boat, so I ate out since I didn't want to cook for just me. I had a late lunch.....3 pm.....chicken fried steak. I'm a little bit hungry now.....11 pm, but I have some watermelon in the fridge and I think I will have some of that.

Marilyn, I've been meaning to ask you....what kind of boat? Am I mistaken in thinking that this is your husband's livlihood?
