Eric's Garden

My sister Joan and I had the privilege of visiting Eric and Dave's garden again this morning and this time I brought my camera!

The garden consists of three acres that was once a part of a ranch owned by Eric's forbears. It's a wonderful mixture the the native plants that have been growing there for centuries, literally, and plants, native and other, that Eric has brought in. The result is the feeling that everything is growing perfectly naturally in a setting of ancient relics.

We were first greeted by this magnificant cycad from Mexico. The fronds must have been close to 7 or 8 ft. long ...

We pass here to set the tone for gardens ...
