RE: Isolated brown patches in new lawn (NY)

We had a brand new lawn installed in our yard (Bronx, New York City) this past November. Sod from a Connecticut farm, Kentucky Bluegrass. Was nice and thick/green through mid-July, then began developing the browns patches shown. Temperatures have been 80s+ and humid. We fertilized in April and again in early June (Scott's 1 and 2). Watering schedule has been early morning and late at night, three times per week. I understand that ideally should order twice per week early morning only between .5 to 1.0 inches each time -- but am concerned this might be a fungus/bug problem rather than a watering problem. Any expert views appreciated!
