I would pick something from the stone in the fireplace.

I think the greys in the last page are too cool, and the others on that page are too dark. I would check out the first two pages excluding the bright whites and the blue.

Sage or olive green for the cabinets and soapstone for the counters. I think you have the windows to handle the darkness and I think it will blend in with the outdoors nicely. Kind of give you that feeling that the house and the land are one.

I'm thinking maybe rain cloud or spruce. Of course, you have to see how they look next to the other materials, IRL. And I think a soapstone countertop is a great suggestion.

I like Morning Dew, Sage or Spruce. There is a quartz counter called Lagos Blue that I love-- it's a great blue/gray/taupe/brown neutral color, and not too plain or too busy. It would look great in your kitchen. Please come back and show us pics when you're done, it's a gorgeous space!

I'd think about gray cabinetry and a quartz or granite counter top in the white with graining that looks like carrera marble....neutral enough and then you can add any color paint to the walls that you want.

All I can think of is, if I had to be stuck somewhere, I'd pick that space. It's going to be beautiful, whatever you choose.

I'm ready for countertops-- love the idea of soapstone & like that Quartz, had thought about concrete. Have even wondered about mixing the rustic wood with marble? I'm ok with the patina.

I have stood up to DH and have found a custom cabinet maker to finish out these cabinets!! Since they are custom, I can pick any color for the perimeter.

The island will be the barnwood that is gray with a whitewash on top.

Perimeter cabinets will be shaker with a bead.

So, now I am looking for SW, Ben Moore colors?

I've heard about Urban Bronze. Any ideas for good taupey gray to go with the fireplace?

Counters - I'm leaning towards soapstone perimeter and marble for the island. For some reason, I am liking the juxtaposition of that combination.

Are you base cabinets only, no or very few uppers? If yes, I vote for sundown, moonlight, or hunter green? What are you doing for appliances? can I have a close up of the floor?

I just painted my foyer revere pewter by BM. It's a greige and I love it.

I I personally like white kitchens. So, I'd probably do a white Quartz countertop with white or pale gray cabinets. I also like contrast though so a white on one surface and a darker color on the other would be attractive too. You've got a beautiful space to work with- good luck!
