My Seedlings: For the love of Adeniums

Swazicum seedlings (started May 05/15) They are 6wks. in this photo. Very kindly sent to me from a wonderful friend in S. Africa.

Tracy, here are some of my more recent seedlings.

Swazicum seedlings at 9 wks.

Swazicum seedlings at 12 wks.

I love the shape and texture of the leaves of the Swazicum's. Really velvety and the way they fold.

Mark Dimmitt's crosses. Kindly required by a friend in Australia.

Arabicum x crispum

Arabicum x obesum

Obesum x crispum

Obesum x Arabicum

Arabicum variants

These where started Dec/2014. I have found for myself that it best to start my seeds n the spring, as the artificial lighting through Dec.-Feb. does not make it worth while for what I see in seed started in Feb.

These would now be almost 7mths. Pots are 2 1/4" wide. For reference.

These are some seedlings from Ken Wall, again kindly through my friend in Australia.

These are 10wks. today.

These are Arabicum x KHZ.

These are Ken Wall's seed of Dbl. Purple.

They are so diverse in their growing habit. I have found that if I can get them out in full sun, acclimating to do so. They make great leaps in growth.

Enjoy, I know I get immense joy from taking my morning coffee out and checking on all my treasures.

Rick
