Comments (22)Congratultions to "Donna" for the new award! :) susan, the yellow daylily is lovely. Took me a second to realize that the reason it looked so full was that it has four petals and sepals! Do you know the cultivar name? Years ago, I went through a huge daylily phase, but haven't kept up with introductions ones for quite a while now. joanmn, does that water level happen often? Comments (13)To correlate with Jemdandy's thread on the Declaration of Independence and freedom, on our trip to Washington DH and I made a point of visiting the Lincoln Memorial. Along with all the other historical details, I was interested to read on Wikipedia that a "popular legend is that Lincoln is shown using sign language to represent his initials, with his left hand shaped to form an "A" and his right hand to form an "L", the president's initials."
