Mirabelle versus Jacuzzi soaking tub
Comments (3)I have the same question but with the different models. I'm wondering if the Mirabelle Sitka or the Jacuzzi Linea would last longer. So far, I've seen a Mirabelle on one forum that had a quarter sized crack in the bottom of the tub. The salesperson at Ferguson said the acrylic tubs shouldn't crack and that if it ever did, she'd like to see a picture of it. Looking at warranties, it appears the Mirabelle has a 5 year warranty and the Jacuzzi has a limited lifetime warranty. I'm always a little skeptical when a warranty says limited, but lifetime sounds better than 5 years. If anyone has purchased either of these products, I'd love to hear their experience so jamiemc1033 and I can make a decision...thanks....See MoreIs there a tub for me?? Comments (9)The overwhelming majority of demographics for your complex would prefer a great shower versus a mediocre tub/shower. Aging people who want to age in place need a shower - and as large as possible because stepping over a tub becomes increasingly problematic. Design with both function (bench and as many grab bars as possible to be reachable anywhere in the shower). While many older people are nimble up to a certain point, there are also periods when they might not be able to bathe and among my senior friends many have given up baths even if they previously enjoyed them because of difficulty of getting up from the tub. While you might lose a buyer who absolutely demands a tub in the master, the greater number will appreciate a great shower. And, if someone really wants a tub experience as critical, chances are they would prefer a larger soaking experience versus a tub/shower combo which doesn't provide the best experience for bathing or showering....See MoreDeep soaking tub with seat, actual user feedback?
Comments (0)I don’t need speculation about using one, but would like to hear from actual users if there are any users out there. Specifically, I’m thinking that the ability to put feet down in a recessed area in front of the seat, and being able to grasp the edge, or a grab bar, it will be easier to actually stand up from a seated position than in my large jacuzzi tub with a surround. Or is the seat too low? I’m 5’ 6”, but have long legs. I’m less concerned about getting in and out over the side. Japanese style tub....See Moredecormyhomepls
