A different way to extract juice from watermelons

I have an old electric juicer - centrifugal force means that the seeds fly to heck and gone, even with the cover and it messes up my kitchen walls and me. Wanting to make watermelon aqua fresca and salted watermelon jelly that only need plain juice, I looked for a less messy way to get the juice from a watermelon. Removing seeds one by one is so tedious, and mashing with a potato masher or a food mill takes a lot of physical effort, and then using a food processor means you get a lot of chipped seeds in the bowl so those didn't win. Therefore: enter the Kitchen Aid mixer. Chop the watermelon fruit into 2 or 3" squares, no rind or green please (make pickled watermelon rind!). Use the whisk attachment and whiz the fruit on medium until the fruit breaks down to very small lumps, therefore using very little of my physical effort. Strain the juice with a sieve to remove the fibrous stuff and seeds and you have a lovely bit of plain watermelon juice to use for whatever you choose.
