Drainage Problem Pool - submersible Pump Advice

Korrie

Our pool was built on sloped land with a retaining wall that goes from about 4 feet to a foot. The associated concrete decking spans about 40' x 12' (max depth). We were ignorant. No proper drainage was installed behind the wall nor in the decking where chairs and table are (see photo .. Zoom in to see highlight around chairs). And let way too much time pas to seek correction from the installer.

I don't have funds to spend on major contractors and have considered DIY options. A friend suggested a submersible pump. I do have a means to cut concrete and dig a hole for pump(s).

Any advice on persuing this route would be most welcome

I would especially like advice on type and size of pumps, including tips on intake, gpm, outake, etc. Read enough to respect there is a lot to know and that I need help! Thank you!,
