Need some opinions please

I will be moving from a house into an apartment in a couple of months. My 11 year old pekingese will be coming with me. What are the chances of him being willing to use pee pads for pee and poop all the time rather than going outside? He can be aggressive around other dogs so I'm thinking the less time outside the better!

I suggest you work on the aggression issue and continue taking him outside for walks and to do his business. It's really not that difficult to keep a pekingese in control if you use the correct approach to change his behavior.
IMO, keeping him indoors is not good for him physically and mentally.
But, to answer your question.........there's no guarantee he'll use the pads consistently. He may just learn that it's OK to go wherever he wants in the house.

When I adopted my small dog it was winter and I picked up a package of p-pads for an emergency, when I took her outside to go I brought along a p-pad and soaked up some of her p on it and brought it back into the house, she started using the pads right away once she smelled her own p, walking is best but if you cant, you cant, my girl got arthritis so bad she wouldnt go out anymore and used the pads all the time. Just remember to always have one down or else he will go any where. They also work great under my litter boxes LOL easy clean up of spilled litter !

persnicketydesign, This is a hard decision! My vote goes to keep it cozy with the partition between great room and sunroom. No matter what you will have the WOW factor with the ceiling at 16'-8" In the other hand the fireplace with the built-ins will look better and more syimmetrycal. I am concern on how that "loose" doors to brk'f and hallway will look on your "big-long" walls if you do not separate the sunroom. If you want it to look more open to please your DH you could remove the door transom, header and arched window and have a tall arch, of course the opening is to be trimmed. To make it even more open you could not install that windows, just make all the the openings with trims in which case I think you need to build a low wall in the bottom of the windows.

My thought would be different pull strategies for different kitchens. In a small kitchen I would strive for as much uniformity as possible, because one doesn't have as many repeating elements to work with, like banks of drawers or doors, as a larger kitchen does. Also, in a small kitchen one is likely to have less detailing like elaborate moldings, etc. If your kitchen was my kitchen I would probably do all one size pull, or all the same on the base cabinets and smaller on the upper cabinets. Also, I would really pay attention to how the pulls feel to your hand. If possible, mount some on scrap wood and grab them? I am liking the trend towards larger pulls for that reason. Thinking of my vintage dresser that has too-small pulls right now. Badgergal - I really like the scale of the pulls that you picked, and how they mimic the fridge pulls. Jellytoast - I like the pulls that you picked. If you wanted to nudge towards mimicking the look of your fridge pulls, however, you could look for bar pull-style handles without the clothing-catching ends.

With my other bathroom, I used this same gel stain and the plywood end next to the toilet was the spot I started with, and how I found this technique. I put the gel stain on with a dry brush, and coated it evenly. Then I dipped the brush in a cup of thinner and went over the whole thing, wiping off the excess onto a rag every so often. That thinned it without wiping it off. When it was the thickness I wanted - the right amount of grain showing through - I went over it one more time with just the very end of the brush and that feathered out most of the brush marks. But I sanded the plywood end on this bathroom down too much I think, and the gel just wasn't as workable. I didn't sand anything except that one end, so the rest should be easier. I also used a rag, a nylon one I think, to do the drawers and doors and didn't have any problem with it going on too thick or wiping off too much. I tried a cotton rag and it did take off too much.

you're growing them indoors, in a tent, if I read correctly. I'm assuming you're using lighting during the day and switch it off at night? Possibly the temperature is going up too high with the lights during the day and at night it's cooling off so they perk up by morning. maybe track the air and water temperature and see if it coincides with the drooping. My plants sometimes droop when the water temp gets too high.

IF you decide to use the p-pads, start using them in your house and doing that training - rather than waiting for the appartment and the the turmoil associated with the move.

Just sayin'.
