What are the best options for tiling around window and peninsula?

Hello again! I am curious what you all think about tiling around this window. We will be doing a white subway tile. I want the tile height to stop at the cabinet bottom height or close to it - I am not interested in tiling to the ceiling, but am confused about what to do with the 4" space that will be tiled in between the window and the cabinets. Do I put a pencil trim on the top edge of the tiles? Do I leave the tiles alone and just have the top tile edge exposed? I was planning on using bullnose tiles for the side edges that are left exposed on the glass cabinet wall.

Also - I only plan on tiling to the end of the cabinet for the peninsula wall....Is that the best option? I know on the other side of the kitchen, I want the tile to end with the cabinet - not the doorway so figured it should match?
