Need help choosing flooring for whole home flooring replacement
Comments (11)Lianne, well, she never came back to check, so who knows what she got! If you look up SJ McCarthy, she's the flooring pro on here. you'll find her comments about how things hold up on numerous posts. If you find her profile, click on her activity, and see if you can find one where she talks about diff flooring. she talks a lot about diff LVP brands. or, start your own post, with a few pics, and ask for advice on flooring choices. If you have a few samples, post the pics of those and see if you get any hits However, reviews of this product on the first link aren't great! in fact, they're quite poor https://www.trustpilot.com/review/karndean.com https://floorcritics.com/karndean-vinyl-plank-review/...See MoreNeed help with choosing laminated wood flooring for 2nd floor townhome
Comments (9)What ??? If I understand tile is on the main floor and this questio is for the seconf floor where the bedrooms are.I think it will depend on the color of the tile on the lower floor as you will be having the 2 floors meet at the bottom of the stairs. Some pictures would be abig help BTW. Maybe look a vinyl plank and do the stirs in a tile to match the lower floor I awys thin stairs look best done to match the lower level and then the floor cange change at the top of the stairs. We need pictures of the furniture too....See MoreRemotely choosing flooring. Need help to narrow down samples please.
Comments (11)@eam44, yes, we have tile now. The builder has to tear up our floors to repair our foundation. There will not be any tile once they're done with the repair. My daughter has a permanent dent in her forehead from falling from a standing position onto the tile floor. It's tile over a slab. This house has a huge straight staircase that scares me to death. This pic doesn't show how high it is but the house has high ceilings and it's a straight drop down to the tile. I've fallen down steps onto carpet and I've been injured. If my daughter fell down these steps onto the tile, the same tile that left a permanent dent in her head, it could kill her. So I want something more forgiving than tile. I know I could put a rug down but I still prefer a softer surface....See MoreI need help in choosing a floor for open plan kitchen living and dinin
