Comments (54)I contacted a few sellers last week; one I was the high bidder but the reserve wasn't met. I wanted to buy the bag & told her what I'd be willing to pay.. she wished I'd contacted her sooner because she would have canceled the auction & sold it to me. What it ended up selling for was less then what I offered. I spoke to another seller who was very interested in selling me a bag; she needed to get merchandise sold. This one is on hold on my end. If she sells it to someone else, fine. The lady I bought that bag from, I was going to buy multiple bags; she had a lot of stock & IMO it would have been worth it because the bags I was going to buy didn't sell. Even if she paid cancellation fees; I was prepared to pay between $125 & $150 - as I said, I got it for $78. It worked to my advantage. Now if I could get the other seller that either sent me the wrong bag or listed the bag she sent wrong; that would make me happy. From what I see of her auctions; I think she listed the bag wrong - used wrong pic & description.. Emotionally with getting the wrong bag, plus losing the snake I really wanted because my browser hung.. I'm emotionally drained with ebay....See MoreAnyone have experience with plantar faciatus?
Comments (16)A tennis ball helps, too. For me, the thing that helped the most was wearing heels. I had Plantar fasciitis in both feet for over a year. It is quite miserable. It was by pure accident that I realized I was getting some relief when I wore slight heels...about 2". I now call them my plantar fasciitis shoes. Whenever I feel a slight tightness in my arches, I start wearing these shoes. It seems to nip it in the bud immediately. After suffering for one whole year, trying everything, my plantar fasciitis was gone in about two weeks. I put on these shoes from the time I got up until I went to bed at night. Even wore them with my pajamas. This from someone who never wears shoes, which by the way, is a definite no-no. Might not work for you, but it sure as heck worked for me...See MoreI bought a pair of Birkis... Birkenstocks
Comments (16)Like Joanne_fla, I stopped wearing mine because my feet don't find them comfy any longer. I used to wear them daily. I now wear Keens when I'm walking/hiking, working out, and just around when in casual mode. They are the most comfortable shoe I've ever had and I'm a shoe whore (can I write that?). The foam-based padding is fabulous. Still going strong after 3 years of daily wear, and I just bought another. They're not the most attractive, but my feel love them - right out of the box too. Shoebuy dot com has regular sales of up to 25% off. ...... just in case anyone wants to try them (free shipping and returns). Highly recommend and all the websites that sells them have great feedback on this shoe. Here is a link that might be useful: Keen...See MoreAnyone Have Foot Surgery for Plantars Fasciitis?
Comments (28)Bigbaby, this is just my opinion, but I would like to suggest that you do wear your Birkies to get to the bathroom from the bed and perhaps buy some crocs to wear to the pool. Water can't hurt them. About the exercises: Before you get out of bed every morning, sit on the side of the bed and move your feet in circles, then write the alphabet with your toes. The doctor didn't tell me this, but before doing that while I was sitting up in the bed I bent my leg so I could easily reach my foot. I massaged the arch of my feet ( I had it in both feet )with my thumb and then just gave my feet a general all over massage. Once I got out of bed or when I stood up after sitting in a chair I stood about two feet from a wall. I put both hands on the wall. I can't remember if you have it in one foot or both. If it is one foot, put that leg behind you. Keep it straight and stretch til you can feel the back of your calf stretching. While doing this you will need to slightly bend the knee on the leg in front. You don't want to stretch that one. I cannot remember how long to hold that stretch, but I would say maybe 20 to 30 seconds. Do not bounce while stretching. Just do it slowlly. It will help alleviate some of the pain you normally feel when you first get up. You can do that stretch several times a day. I still do it occasionally. When I had PF I found a message board , but that was a few years ago and I have no idea what it was or where it was.Sorry I can't help you there. Linda...See More- 11 years ago
