We are now watching Grace & Frankie and we really enjoy it. I find it to be both different and funny. I resisted when it was first mentioned but I am glad I decided to give it a chance. I enjoyed House of Cards; the first and second seasons were great but the third was less than exciting. I really enjoyed watching the original HOC with was British and first done by the BBC in the late 80s - early 90s. I think I am slow to Netflix but from what I have seen, it's kinda great. We also watched The Paradise which was just OK but we discovered it when we searched for more shows with the actress who is the daughter of Celia in Last Tango, Sarah Lancashire. We found that she was also in Happy Valley which we watched and thought it was very good. Lots and lots of great stuff on Netflix. Have fun and enjoy.

Late to the discussion as usual... My sister was recently raving about Mrs. Maizel to me, but I have yet to check it out. I have recently discovered Documentary Now! on Netflix & really enjoy its escapist silly-ness. It's from a couple of years ago & I don't know how I missed it, but there is truly such a wealth of good entertainment nowadays, I don't know how anyone can keep up. Marcy -- Thanks. I suspect we watched "Suits" as freebies on Amazon. (We are so cheap!) I thought maybe we'd get Season 7 free on Netflix. DIL loves "The Crown", and I think we can see that on Netflix. (I'm so old that I was in London the year after ERII received her crown -- and followed Princess Margaret's well-publicized capers.) DH likes "Victoria", and we've recorded that. (I think it lacks depth and is cheaply produced; cast of...ten?) I think "The Guardian" was recommended on KT. We're in the middle of Season 1. We like it; astounded to see how many seasons there are! Our library had DVD's of "Intelligence" (filmed in Vancouver) and "Spiral" (French police show -- with the dishy window dresser, 'Pierre', of "The Paradise").

I binged about half the episodes last night. Loved it, although some of the jokes about aging hit too close to home ! In the scene where Grace and Frankie are sitting on the ground at the ashram I kept thinking “ how are they going to get up? “ Also, I could never sleep on the top of a bunk bed because of having to get up to pee during the night. i was surprised to read that Lily is almost 80 and Jane is 81. They are doing great!
