I'm pretty good at wiping up water, I usually water the plants at the kitchen sink. He's making it as I type! I'll post a picture when it's all finished and set up. I hope it's not going to be too big. lol. I went to Walmart this morning and bought one of those vinyl coated wire shelves that was in the link above. I'm going to use that for my smaller African Violets. But they are NOT strong enough to put a heavy potted plant on. So I'm glad you suggested a wood shelf! I doubt if he sands the corners, but I don't care, as long as it works, right? Thanks again. :)

As I know, people are more and more willing to purchasing from overseas producer directly, but I would like to recommend you purchasing from local dealer. 1st, you could check color in their showroom, especially you are not familiar with stone material. 2nd, Overseas producers usually require minimum one container load, so that they could offer best prices. 3nd, The shipping cost would make the cost higher if you just need a couple of pieces. 4th, ....... :) So that's your sink? That's the picture I had used to explain to my steel fabricator what I mean by a "faucet deck". That fabricator claimed he can do it, because he's done several for restaurant sinks (which is what I'm used to). I want the water (from my wet hands) to drip onto the deck (which would drip back into the sink), not the countertop. I'm also curious if there's a pre-made stainless steel sink like this.

i know that shaws farmhouse sink made by rohl is 30 X 18 and they sell sink grids for that particular sink in stainless steel and white for about $125.00 i have seen it on a few websites such as: quality bath, faucets direct and home and stone. hope that helps
