Thank you Chibimimi. I love that sconce, bit it may be a bit too minimalist for us. I did go back to the lighting store yesterday and found a chandy with some bling. Hadn't noticed before. Guess I was a bit overwhelmed on the first visit, kwim? And I wasn't really sold on the idea of adding bling in the mix. I also chose a couple of other paint samples, BM Big Bend Beige and Annapolis Gray for consideration. Getting there. Here is the chandy. Sorry I don't know how to post more than one pic from my iPad and I am too lazy to use my photobucket. I also now a bit torn on whether to use a mix of knobs and pulls on the cabs or just all pulls. I found some gorgeous mission style pulls on Rejuvenation hardware yesterday and they are on sale. I need 14. Thoughts anyone?

Lowjo1, I was looking at Encore tile several months ago. It has been a long time, but I do not remember them having a field tile like the one in the picture you provided. My best guess is that the field tiles are actually stone vs ceramic tile. Encore can be contacted through their website, they should be able to tell you what it is. Your kitchen is beautiful. IMHO, I think the Encore backsplash would make a sparkling statement, especially set in stone. They offer so many beautiful choices and combinations. Just for your information, we were considering a different collection of theirs called Treasures, but decided it was too busy for us because of the wide color variation. I think the Vecchio collection you are looking at is fairly consistent in color.

I love the godmorgan sink for their clever plumbing moving the ptrap to the back so that you can have drawers. I got one but my plumber threw up all over it for the cheap quality of the plastic in the plumbing. He did agree about the design and is building ours with the ptrap in the back so that we can do drawers using better quality stock parts. Mirrors.. I would suggest picking this first as this will drive much tile you need. Have you looked at IKEA mirrors. They are a good price point. Also home goods etc.. Faucet.. Online prices are much better.. Do you like the look of the faucet in the picture? I went with a simple version from a good quality brand for my regular bathrooms with a single lever. For powder room, I also wanted it to be fun and did wall mounted in antique copper.

Wow, so nice to finish work & find lots of opinions! Fwiw I think the tile is a bone white, not super stark but also not really creamy either. Here it is on the Beltile website. @Emily: I don't have the elevation diagram for the bathroom, but the general idea is something like this below (w/a slightly longer tub& bench. Our vanity will be on the opposite side of the room). I want to use the accent tile on the back wall, since that will be the view as you walk into the room and visible from the bedroom when the door is open. This the porcelain floor I'm hoping to use from the Tile Shop. I'm hoping the variation helps with keeping things clean. I was hoping to do this 2" travertine hex on the shower floor. Per @Maureen's suggestion, I could do a larger hex instead of the chevron for the floor tile. @maddybeagle I definitely would try to find a narrow tile to frame the accent. Beltile has a pencil trim in blue as well as green, but I'll have to see if either is a good match. @jslazart I love those ideas, but I worry that using this tile for the whole wall above the tub would be overkill. @btydrvn I realize black floor tile may be risky. But so are light floors! We're staying in a rental house during construction and I'm cursing the white tiled floors in all the baths. I have 2 boys...so I'm generally trying to go dark on the floors to hide the fallout. @Maureen thanks for those beautiful images! @Flo Mangan - thanks for all the great tips! This is an addition, just in the framing stage, so the style of everything is up for grabs. My style probably qualifies as transitional.
