Secret is always lovely. My two bushes both came back from an extremely cold, long winter. Just Joey is my absolute fav, and the flower in my avatar. He black spots and defoliates when we get into the summer here in NJ, but I'll always have one in my garden anyway. He's actually showing the first bud this season. I'm not crazy about Gene Boerner, grew it, oh, more than 30 years ago. At that time the flowers were too small for me, and reflexed too much. Just a personal thing, I guess. Now I have loads of minifloras and minis. I came to appreciate the more diminuative.

I lost my Neil Diamond over the winter, and Cherry Parfait is new to me this year. Both have gorgeous blooms.

That's a gorgeous list. We do get to see pics when they bloom, don't we?

Thanks, Candiarose! The pictures of Secret on HMF are what won me over! Sorry to hear about your Neil Diamond. This will be my 3rd try for a Gene Boerner, my first year growing I bought a grafted one that was pretty much DOA, then a couple of years ago I thought I'd try it own root and that one barely does anything, so I saw another grafted one this year that looked really healthy and figured I'd give it one more shot since I love that light pink.

Kate, yes, of course!! You guys are the some of the only ones who really appreciate them, me thinks :) I get lots of compliments from neighbors and my husband and kids appreciate all of the work but I don't think most other people do. I know that I sure didn't, until I started growing them myself!

That's a wonderful list of roses! Most of them I've never had but I can tell you that Just Joey isn't super vigorous and may be a little winter tender so protect it and Cherry Parfait is a bloom machine and winters like a champ!

I'm getting Neil Diamond this spring too. I hope it will winter well for me because I'm just crazy about it!

Andrea, that is a great list. I only have Belinda's Dream and it's a great rose for me. I gave a Touch Of Class to my sister and it is a fantastic rose for her, has blooms galore. Yes, we want to see pictures, please.

Nice list. I had Rio Samba last year but it didn't come back and I was fine with that. It was productive but it is a rose that does not age well for me.

Cabana is one of my best blooming roses..Cherry Parfait is also a good bloomer for me. Great list....best of luck.

Cherry Parfait is a great rose. Blooms a ton and they last on the bush and the vase. Touch Of Class has some of the best formed blooms of all the roses and she's a great cut rose. Secret is just a beauty. Belinda's dream is a bloom machine. You'll love her. Broadway has amazing color.

Paradise Found is a my favorite rose. It's my avatar picture. The fragrance is incredible, and so unique. I can't wait to hear what you think of its fragrance!!!!
