Cream Puffs.... not right ??

This afternoon made my first ever cream puffs. Years and years ago my Mother made them alot. I remember watching her...they were never a favorite of mine, that's probably the reason I have never made them....Funny how time changes the taste buds.


I felt like my dough was too thin, Mothers was a thicker dough .....her finish puffs were high.....my first batch spread and flatten out to much, second batch was better.....smaller and yielded a higher puff. I used ex-large eggs, was this the problem?

I used Ann T's cream puff recipe.

These flatten and looked like hamburger buns.


Second batch of cream puffs on right and were better.....
