Who is your favorite "pot pet"?

Like a lot of other people, my garden just isn't big enough to grow all the roses I want in the ground. The answer is obviously growing some in suitable pots. But some roses seem better suited to growing in containers than others. Some are simply to big to be contained without severe pruning, while others are just too spindly to look good without bedding plants to distract from their faults. I think potted roses need to be good repeaters with compact, healthy growth. Something you'd be happy to display on the patio or in the courtyard. There always seems to be somebody asking which varieties may be suitable, so what varieties perform well for you in a pot? And include zone and culture details.

For me the stars of my potted collection in a hot Mediterranean zone 10 are Francis Dubreuil aka Barcelona and Sophies Perpetual.

Francis is in a plastic 45cm pott hat holds about 40l of soil.
