As the title says, I am completely new to gardening. Last spring, I purchased a landscape rose bush. It didn't really grow very much but the blooms were gorgeous. When late winter came around, I decided that I didn't like the location so I chose to transplant it into a pot. I used organic soil and added some bone meal, kelp meal, and Epsom salts. As of now, most of the canes are grey-brown with the tips being slightly reddish. There is some new growth with beautiful green leaves but the majority of the canes aren't producing a thing. Should I assume that the rest of the plant is dead? What should I do?
