Unidentified Plant #2

On the same tour as the previous post, the homeowner had another plant which neither she nor the rest of the tour participants could ID. Again, the foliage is rather attractive; in this case the stems are dark. Any ideas, fellow gardeners?

I may have found the answer on this one - hydrangea macrophylla "Nigra", a.k.a. black stem hydrangea. Not positive about the ID, but it looks close.

To me, number 1 looks more like a Caladium than a Syngonium, but I am not sure. Number 2 is Calathea ornata. Number 3 is an Aglaonema, maybe Aglaonema 'Cory.' I don't recognize number 4.

I think you called it right in the beginning, barbge. Serrano or Jap. Still kinda immature --- if it stays slender, serrano... if it fattens up, Jap. let me emphasize that there are literally hundreds(if not thousands) of varieties. Could be something totally different. I, also, am not the best at I.D. Maybe others will chime in. Kevin
