Roses and others on sale...40% off!
Comments (8)This is how I shop for sale roses at the end of the season: look past the foliage and flowers, down at the base of the plants and see how they look--green canes that are clean and healthy? Or are they scratched, spotted with disease, dried out? Is there a good number of canes (at least 3 fat strong ones)? Pick the healthiest ones. Then look at the foliage, flowers and new growth--has it been well cared for or is it kind of dried out? Pick the healthiest of the healthiest. It's better to be choosy and just take the best rather than buying a whole bunch at once. As you learn more, your taste will change. Being choosy and starting slowly gives you a chance to learn and observe without spending too much money. Think long term....See MoreStay away from Gurneys, Brecks and Springhill Nursery
Comments (37)They just lost a really good customer and showed how poor their organization and communication is. i would love to fix all that. Im sorry that happened, we need to be joyful about our flower orders. The company is NOT truly guaranteeing their goods; very foolish, especially if they check your buying account. I had a debate with Breck’s this morning. A sales packet offerred BOGO peonies for $19.99. Since then, the price has climbed up to $22.99. Im not worried about the few dollar differenve, however, that is fraudulent advertizimg and it should be on them. Try Home Depot, as the season wears on they have some teriffic bargains. Last year, half way through the season, all roses were 50% off. Best Best, K. 💪🏻...See MoreSpring Hill 5 roses for $14.99!

Comments (54)My first bunch took off really well and have put out a lot of leaves but the second bunch (after a long fulfillment delay on their end) are taking much longer to leaf out. Like the first bunch they are in pots with the same type of soil, in a very protected spot (next to the others) and getting babied, but I may lose a few. Will have to wait and see....See MoreRelated Professionals
