"The following review focuses on the biological control of the red spider mite Tetranychus urticae (Acari: Tetranychidae), one hundred years after a scientific review on its biology and pest characteristics was published by Ewing (1914). We analyse the role of biocontrol plants (sensu Parolin et al. 2014a) to enhance the stability of the population of different species of predatory mites and protect rose as ornamental crops".
