Eating lunch with my special needs sister at the Home. And listening to her tell everyone at the table what all was in her Easter 'bag'......(this bunny has learned it's easier than a basket). When we buy her clothes for her birthday and Christmas, we prewash so she can wear right away. The Easter Bunny and Santa doesn't do that, so her clothes were in their Blair pkgs. She was so excited to tell me that the Easter Bunny brought her BRAND NEW clothes. Hmmm, wonder if she thinks the others are hand me downs! lol Shirley

Even before computers were invented, I've always been an "information junkie." I worked in libraries and historical societies most of my life and had to be good at gathering information. My parents were the same, so with me, it is genetic. I can recall when the internet first came up, I literally spent hours and hours browsing upon topic of interest, printing out words to my favorite songs, reseaching my family history, printing out art works, etc. Now, I spend at least 2 hours per day on various chatrooms, forums and keep in touch with friends via Facebook and e-mail, far and wide. It's way too much time spent just sitting but I don't know how to break the addiction to collecting information and passing it on. I do not have an I-Pod, Cell Phone, Kindle, Blackberry, etc. and I do not play games, thankfully.

A guy walks into a post office one day to see a middle-aged, balding man standing at the counter methodically placing ''Love'' stamps on bright pink envelopes with hearts all over them. He then takes out a perfume bottle and starts spraying scent all over them. His curiosity gets the better of him and he goes up to the balding man and asks him what he is doing. "I'm sending out 1,000 Valentine cards signed, 'Guess who?'" "But why?'' asks the man. "I'm a divorce lawyer."

Ruth and Jeanne....Great!! The ripping off of mail and packages has gotten really bad out here. Is it an issue where you both live? The stealing from stores stores like TJ MAXX is over the top. Purse/wallet stealing is huge at the Trader Joes in my area.
