nail polish technique on totems?
Comments (6)Vicki, Those aren't bowling balls, they are round glass whatevers, like the one is probably a small goldfish bowl, and I think the bigger reddish one is a light fixture cover. sometimes I use the brush if there is a little spot that won't cover, but if you put enough nail polish inside the glass whatever, it should cover it all. Now, the bowling balls I have made, I have spray painted some first, depending on the color of the ball. You really need to let the paint set up, though, because if you try to silicone too fast, the paint peels off. But, now that you have mentioned it, dumping nail polish on the bowling balls sounds pretty cool, I may have to try that!!...See MoreNail polish for toes?
Comments (45)I have been using OPI Alice in Wonderland Mad as a Hatter glitter polish on my toes this year! It was so popular, we couldn't get it for awhile. It has purplish, bluish, silverish major glitter, colors and I always get compliments from it. But, I am tiring of it now (that's my personality-I'm fickle!)and will probably go back to my bright coral reds. I also liked black on my toes (last year) and sometimes on my nails. I also like a real pale cream pink on tanned feet. I go quite often for pedicures and LOVE painted toes! My DS even goes with me now and then, and ONLY ON HIS BIG TOE (on each foot) he has it painted black, with a white skull and bones and the lady puts a touch of silver on it. It really looks cool! He can pull it off, cause he is such a jock! My girlfriends are hating me now, because their sons want it too. I just started it last summer (summer's only) and it looks cute with his flip-flops. Now, he had better NEVER come home with an earring in his ear-that's where I draw the line-HA! Which may sound backwards to some people. I love french manicured toes, but, I am in the yard and outside with plants too much and it never lasts on me....See MoreWhat color nail polish do you wear on your toes for summer?
Comments (41)Patti I find that the professional pedi last a very long time, many weeks so is really worth it, plus the massage and pampering are wonderful. I have never mastered the art of polish if I do it you would think a blindfolded chimpanzee did it.... it ain't pretty! The pros make it look so simple and easy and fast. I have been waiting for my broken toe nail to grow out before getting one but I donâÂÂt think I can wait until then. I have no idea how I managed to damage my big toe nail but I did, I hope it doesn't grow in all funky looking....See MorePost your Spring pictures!
Comments (78)Such pretty tulips, Sandy! Isn't it sad to see them ending! Like Katob said, I wish my tulips would return and multiply as well as my daffodils. In spite of its quick fading, I truly appreciate the beauty and placement of your camassias, Katob! That is a lovely picture and blooms of the blue camassias. I gave some camassias a try this year and am not impressed. This will be my last purchase of camassias. They probably perform better in the northwest where they are native. Between the blue and white ones that i got last year, the white ones are definitely better for me than the blue ones....See MoreMagdalenaLee
