Happy Easter to you and your family as well Raven!

We're just eating breakfast. I had some roasted vegetables, ham and boiled potatoes left over so for the first time ever, I made a fritatta.

And a Happy Easter to you also, raven. And to all KT'ers too. We will be at daughters for the feast. It will be my first visit to her house since Christmas day. Getting up the bank to her house with my scooter in snow, wet, and/or muddy terrain is difficult if not impossible at times. It has been a rough winter. It will be a little muddy today, but I am going for it. Really looking forward to the afternoon with everybody that will be there.

We don't stray too far from home this time of year, so we are having our neighbour, 85 years young, over for dinner. He is an old horseman, still drives a four horse hitch in all the parades, enters and usually wins the heavy horse competitions and still breaks heavy horses. Love his company, and when my dad was still alive, he was a really good friend to him. We plan to watch the gold medal game of the mens world curling championships, and after dinner we will play some wicked crib games.

That Frittata looks yummy jasdip. Happy Easter everyone. I miss coloring eggs.

We are having a quiet Easter this year. Neither of our kids could make it home, I knew this day would come that we all wouldn't be together for a holiday :( It's still a joyous day and we will be talking to them soon. God bless you all.

Ha, tibbrix love that one. Did you see the other one where the ears are bitten off one bunny and the tail off the other? I don't know if I can post it here, it's not bad, but I don't want to offend anyone.

We're heading over to a friend's house for a potluck Easter brunch. I've got a large asparagus, mushroom cheese quiche in the over right now.

I will be going to a daughter's for Easter dinner. Payback time now. For so many years I entertained all and sundry on holidays. My children always invited someone who "didn't have anyplace to go." And, added to family we usually had at least twelve for holiday dinners. I miss it though I know I couldn't possibly do it now.

Enjoy the day and the family time. It is priceless.

Happy Easter everyone. We've had a weekend of eating it seems ;) Friday night out, My SIL and her husband took us to dinner for our anniversary....44 years ;) Yesterday was an early Easter breakfast with DH's family, planned so everyone would be free today for other things. Our latest great nephew, 9 weeks now, was of course the center of attention and our entertainment.

Today we're meeting my family after everyone has gone to their own churches for Easter lunch. Location most central so no one has to drive too far - we'll have a restaurant Easter but that's fine, I haven't seen my brother and his family since Christmas and I'm looking forward to it. I'm trading cooking and cleanup for a two hr drive but, works for me...

Happy Easter and Passover to all my kt friends. It's a beautiful day here, we go to our daughter's for a lovely dinner and family time.

Happy Easter and belated Happy Passover to everyone! I too miss having the kiddos here this morning, but we are lucky enough to have one dd in the area who will come to Mass with me, then lunch. Later her bf will join us for dinner. We might even get some miracle rain today!

Happy Easter from me as well. We had an Easter breakfast of hard boiled eggs, kielbasa, rye bread and horseradish. This is a nod to my Polish heritage. Then we went to Mass. Since our families are scattered far and wide, we will go out to dinner later this afternoon.

Glenda, congratulations on your great news! It sounds like your son and soon-to-be daughter-in-law have an absolutely romantic and lovely wedding ceremony planned.

I'm sitting here resting up from family just leaving after spending the weekend. Four of my DDs and mates were home.....not a kid along, which was OK.......they all have families and their own festivities to attend. Then the youngest of the latter, 29 and single, stopped in. We had our Easter dinner Saturday evening, and huge brunch today. Good, good food. We colored eggs Saturday PM, as is our usual activity then. It was a lovely time.
