My huge King apple tree, drawn by a friend. Unfortunately, it's down to only two main limbs now. A hundred or so years ago, someone installed a ring (to hold horses) at the base of the limbs, which allowed moisture to enter and begin the rotting process. One limb missed the porch by inches when it came down. Fantastic apples.

Comments (14)Jasdip, my daughter is a classically trained dancer and attended the local high school of the arts. Once she grew out of her Pointe ballerina body, she went into Lyrical, Modern and Commercial dance. While at college in NYC, she worked for the guy who taught Al Pacino to dance the tango in the film Scent of a Woman. He took her under his wing and taught her the Argentine Tango. To this day, it is still her favorite dance. I don't have many photos of her dancing but did find one taken a couple years ago.
